Hongmen Banquet

The Hongmen Banquet was a dangerous meeting in 206 BC during the Chu-Han contention. Xiang Yu (leader of Chu) invited Liu Bang (his rival) to a feast, planning to kill him. Liu Bang pretended loyalty, escaped, and later defeated Xiang Yu, founding the Han Dynasty.
